I know that holding will happen, but when you make holding a part of your game plan, that is just going to far.....

It also says in the rule book that a fighter must stay in the neutral corner when an opponent is down, or the count will be stopped (Bute-Andrade).

But I would say in 80-90 % of Ali's KO's, not once did he stay in the neutral corner, he was all over the ring.


Rule's are there to be enforced, different refs have different levels of strictness, not every rule can be enforced to pin point accuracy.

Thats why a ref can have ALOT of say in a fight.

If Marlon Wright had wanted Andrade to win, he would have carried on the count, noone would have complained.

If Marlon Wright had wanted Bute to win, he would have stopped the count, noone can really complain because he's sticking to the rules.
