I know that holding will happen, but when you make holding a part of your game plan, that is just going to far.....

You're absolutely right. This is what turns off so many people who dont normally watch boxing but finally tune in to a fight. (why are they holding so much??)There was a recent fight I think where the ref stepped in early...oh yeah the Berto/Collazo fight that showed what happens when a good ref puts an end to that **** early. If he handnt done that, that fight wouldnt have been close to as good as it was cuz Berto wouldve been happy to clinch all fight.
I hate it too and ultimately they either have to start enforcing that rule or we just have to hope we get lucky and get a good ref in there like Steve Smoger to stop that **** from the beginning.

btw Steve Smoger is the best ref in the biz hands down.
