yeah, but they could equally say that margarito ruined cotto.

I highly doubt Berto gets Cotto just yet. If Cotto beats Clottey I have no doubt Mosley vs Cotto II will happen. I doubt Floyd fights either of them this year but it definitely would set up a great scenario if Floyd fights and beats Pac and faces the winner of Cotto vs Mosley II in 2010.

Berto is still the lower tier of the champs

        i see berto/urango as foreshadowing berto/cotto.

As if Urango is a mirror image of Cotto? I definitely don't agree with that. Many fighters may share the same traits, but that doesn't guarantee an identical fight in the case of Berto fighting Cotto after Urango. That's crazy

urango is cotto-lite because they have the same trainer. urango is a tune up / set up for cotto.

Urango wasn't even the 1st guy they want after to get a fight for May 30th. He was just an available name since Mosley said No to their proposed fight as well as turning down the Collazo rematch (at least for now).

Cotto beating Clottey puts him back in the big scheme of things. Why would Cotto turn down a big money fight against Mosley in a rematch to fight Andre Berto who the general public still doesn't know yet?

Plus, I don't know any logical Promoter or Manager that would look at Urango and say "Urango fights like Cotto so he'll be a good set up for you". If anything the Mosley fight would've been a good test for Berto being Cotto beat him, but after seeing the Collazo fight I have no doubt both Mosley and Cotto beat him right now. He's not getting thrown into the wolves just yet.

I really don't see the problem in Mayweather fighting Pacman. Mayweather is not a ww anyways, but what's really important though is that Pac-May would be more action packed than May-Cotto or May-Mosley.

When May can "avoid fighting" he "avoids fighting". He is just sooooo good at it. It is unfortunate but the way he uses everything in a negative way is his best asset. Because of this, Cotto being the slowest of the 3 fighters has the best chance at giving us a snoozer against May. As for Mosley, I don't see a 37 year old beating () May (unless he comes back without a tune-up...). Pac is fast, aggressive, he does not clinch. Sure he is smaller, but this is the fight with the highest combined output of the 3 mentioned... per single round at least.
