Watch what happens to Holmes at 11:25.

Shavers don't have Vitali's KO percentage.

I know the typical response: "But Shaver's competition was much better"

But hey guess what that doesn't necessarily mean that Vitali wouldn't go through shavers or even ali's competition without the same knockout percentage, all it means is that we will never know.
But if you ask me Vitali would go through Ali's competition knocking them out just as readily as he knocks out today's heavyweights, there is ZERO evidence against it, that he wouldn't be able to do that.

Ali's chin was an enigma, Cooper had him on dream street, yet shavers, liston , foreman etc landed good shots on him which didn't do much to him. I think in all seriousness though Vitali has a combo of Height, strength, speed, power and skill which takes a special fighter to overcome. Ali is a special fighter, but it could go either way.

what the hell. are my eyes deceiving me? A lewis nuthugger and klitschko hater (at least judging by avatar/sigs) is giving Vitali his due respect and saying he has a chance against the nonpareil himself ali?

I think these Heavies are better than the Vitali

          1. Ali
          2. Tyson
          3. Lewis
          4. Holyfield
          5. Bowe
          6. Foreman
          7. Louis
          8. Marciano
          9. Frazier
          10. Patterson
          11. Roy Jones Jr
          12. Dempsey
          13. Liston

(some of these are close, Vitali would be near the bottom of this list.)

All the above also count for Wlad, with the addition of some lesser guys like Tua. Wlad would be between 18-20

Considering there have been 1000's of heavies I don't think these placings are bad

(by the way this is p4p not who would beat the brothers, thier size gives them a big advantage over many.)

At his peak Shavers had 50 wins, 49 by knockout.

His KO record isn't as great since he fought in his 50's but it's still amazing at 74 wins, 68 of them by knockout.

Also if Shavers was 6 foot 7.5 and weighed 250lbs he would be a scary beast, even more scary.

                Hey Infern0

did you watch Wlad vs Brewster II??

Wlad completely dominated, beat the **** out of Brewster and made him say "No Mas" in 6 rounds.

To have Vitali in top 15 is not bad at all. But Roy Jones #11 ahead of dempsey/liston/vitali...WTF???? what you smoking pal? Dempsey and Vitali both would have decapitated poor jones

At this rate, their reign will be the greatest ever which will make them the greatest ever. Because they are fighting the top fighters of the heavyweight division today day in and day out.
