personally, I think a 12 round performance is in many ways more impressive than a first round blowout.

for example, look at JMM-Pacquiao I. imagine if that fight would have ended in the first round(which it very well could have). we would have never found out anything about JMM, despite the fact that he was the same exact fighter as always.
now, you go 12 rounds with someone, you both have enough time show one another everything youve got.

the most impressive victory is one that goes on for a few one sided rounds, and then that guy finishes the job when they want to.

Williams got schooled in the first fight and the second fight he cought Q with a haymaker so it's a no brainer .... Let make the 3rd fight to settle this.

so? Quintana DOMINATED Williams for 12 rounds.
they are 1-1.. if you have nothing to fear then why do you want to prevent the fight from happening?

quitnana got KTFO under 1 round... rubbermatch isn't necessary

All kidding aside, maybe trilogy between Williams and Quintana should have happened. But people acting like PWill is scared of Quintana got to be out of their minds. Sure, maybe PWills opposition wasn't the best after the second fight. But it is a damn sight better then Quintana's, whose last fight was against a guy with a losing record.

Williams got DOMINATED 12 full rounds.. the rubber match IS necessary.
What I find hillarious is that you agree in this thread that the way Quintana won was more impressive:

but you don't agree in this one?? Why and how is that?

I love how people in this forum say **** about Cotto that he's scared of Williams, but they should remember that their hero is scared of Quintana.
