I just dont get it. I mean it took Richardson coming into Margaritos lockeroom to notice the handwraps. What are the processes of inspecting the handwraps. Margaritos hands were wrapped and he had approval on them. I just dont get how they missed it, unless they werent watching at all.
How did the commission miss what was in Margaritos handwraps?

thats what i'm thinking. Not only should Margarito and his trainer be punished, but the guys who ok'd his wraps should be as well. Dont they have to watch the entire handwrap procedure, or do they come in after its wrapped and check it?Comment

Sometimes those MO FO, dont even pay attetion to what is hapening fo real. They are that incompetent.
The funny thing is that Naz told them, hey that **** is too hard and the commisioner told him no, its ok, lets go on.

The role of a supervisor is told here by president of the danish pro boxing federation Jesper Jensen:
(my translation):
"... Through my 13 titlefights and 25 fights as WBA supervisor I'd like to comment on the things I pratice as supervisor:
1: At the rules meeting (typically after the weigh-in) you agree on time of taping and types of gloves. A second from each corner is invited to look on as the fists are being wrapped. Either the supervisor or another official (referee or judge) must be there at all time as the taping is being done. When the wrapping is over it's approved by all parties and the wrapping is signed by the supervisor.
2 : Before the fight the boxer gets the gloves (chosen at the rules meeting the day before), and the supervisor checks if new tape has been put on. After that the supervisor and a second from the corner checks that everything is done correctly. The taping on the gloves is then signed.
3: It's not allowed to tape directly on the hand or above the knuckles and the wrap must be stretchable.
I do not know what happened (in the Margarito-Mosley fight) for obvious reasons, but I know this is how it's normally done."Comment
