    How could this happen?

The lab findings regarding Margaritos wraps seemed to dribble out with hardly any fanfare compared to the furore surrounding his earlier hearing.Surely the fact that it was found to be plaster should have been a massive story, every bit as big as his earlier hearing, after all, wasnt the make up of those pads and their origin the reason for all this in the first place?

Thats exactly my point! None of us seem to know the details,or if we did we had to look a lot harder than finding out about the initial hearing. Now its known that it was plaster surely the CSAC have to look at it again. If they aint gonna ban Margarito for life, then at the very least they should do that to Capetillo!

Its been covered pretty substantially by the boxing press. Also the report said they found "trace elements" of ingriedients. No actual plaster, no hardened wraps so I think it takes some of the oomph out of the story.
Most people seemed to think they would find hardened wraps, but it was far less serious than they made it out to be.

Both Margarito and Capetillo had their license revoked. Contrary to popular belief, it was not a one year suspension. The soonest they can re-apply for the license is one year. By never reinstating them, it essentially becomes a lifetime ban.

Well, those elements were still there and I dont suppose they occured naturally.I suppose it would have been common sense to have waited until after the lab findings to have punished Margarito and Capetillo...then again, this is boxing we are talking about!

i wish some kind of detailed report would come out so we can know exactly what the deal is with the plaster and such. it's like so vague, and quiet. strange.
