I agree only if Tony's first fight is against Miguel Cotto and Cotto gets 100% of the boxing purse.

I think that a minimum of 5 years for both should be suffice to teach them and any others to follow, that it is too much of a risk. While one year would would make it worth the risk if you make enough money out of the illegal act.
I don't like what Margarito did but he and his family deserve to eat in the future and a chance to work his way up from the bottom.
The thought that his trainer should take all the weight is what Mike Tyson would call "ludicrous".
Capetillo works for Margarito and not the other way around. As the "Boss" you take the weight for your guys, Margarito Hired him and is responsible for him.
Though it is obvious that they are in this together.

Come on, he's already made far more money than anyone I know will make in their entire lifetime. This isn't about not being able to feed his family FFS.

Ok "bad choice of words"...is make a living better?
I was a fan of Margarito way before the fight with Cotto, I always thought he was a good fighter that never got a break.
But after all of this I don't like what he and his trainer has done and feel they should be punished severely, I just think lifetime is too much.
5 year minimum will teach him.IMO

I do not condone what Margarito or his trainer have done. However I do not believe he should be banned for life. Mosley and other boxers have taken steroids to gain speed and strength with the intent that this will in effect make their punches have greater effect. Mosley got off scott free yet Margarito may be banned for life. Cheating is cheating wheter its loaded gloves or taking steroids the intent is to gain an advantage over your opponent. If your gonna ban one cheater than ban the other one as well.

I will say 90% and 10% for the cheater, he will need to pay his hospital bills.
