I dont know if their quality as fighters would differ, but they would definately be hyped to hell by any sport related network.

When Shannon Briggs won his title i remember the commentator came in his pants as he squealed "WE HAVE AN AMERICAN HEAVYWIGHT CHAMPION" Imagine if he had 2 of them!

Cuz those guys suck. Byrd's ok but he's no heavyweight and Ruiz is an all time worst fighter.

The bros' are in a different class. Unfortunately Americans have a hard time accepting the fact that they have been overtaken by better fighters.
Its a global sport, wake up America.

Yes, if they were American and black, they would be unconditionally loved by the likes of Teddy Atlas and Eric Raskin, and American fans would come to like them better since they would be hearing and reading nothing but good about them.
well, I think both Klitschko brothers ARE more respected than Byrd and Ruiz, dont you? for good reason too...

Im sure they would gain some fans, but nothing drastic. but I wonder if Wlad Owns would still be a fan of them, haha...

The media gives the Klits props in real life, but that doesn't make a difference. Even if they were born somewhere else, they wouldn't be regarded as ATG, just as Ruiz and Byrd aren't. Besides, that style won't sell in the US or the Latin American markets.

They would be the top 2 heavyweights in the world. Either way they still are. They are amazing. If They continue to beat and dominate there oppositions more people will notice. It took some fans at least 10 Hopkins title defenses to really give him credit.

I'd dislike them just as much as i dislike them now. Black white, green yellow, american european, whatever, they both fight like scared little bitches.

To be honest the main reason people don't like them is because they are the face of the worst heavyweight division in history, thats pretty much it.

American? Perhaps. Black? I doubt it.

Can someone give me ONE example of a successful White American athlete who was not given due credit and adored by the media and fans?

No, if they were black you'd love them. Be honest and admit it.
