Do boxers not have PR people or managers or somebody that deals with the public side of things???? Any half decent PR manager knows how to get the fans on your side which is by being modest, stop calling the same person out a million times, generally dont act like a twat, go for big fights but when your ready and let people know when you'll be ready. It just seems crazy to me unless hes trying to be built up as calzaghes understudy but with attitude or something like that???

Having said that im a fan (english) and i generally believe he will give taylor a fight. One that he is very capable of winning.

He goes down but never really gets hurt, I think Calzaghes chin is underated, in the RJJ fight Jones landed a hell of an uppercut (round 6 I think) and it hardly phased Calzaghe.

Also every time Calzaghe gets hit with a clean shot he always comes back straight away with some fierce punches

I can't see it unless he pings him with a huge uppercut a la Magee. I think Taylor's movement will be more than he can cope with.
Froch is much faster and more skilled than you give him credit for. He counter-punches very effectively and from unexpected angles. He has an excellent jab (except when he forgets to use it, but I doubt he'll forget against Taylor). He fights with real non-stop intensity, and Taylor doesn't like to be put under pressure. Although he gets caught a lot, he very rarely gets caught flush, which is why he can take so many punches without being hurt. And although his one-punch power is over-rated, IMO, he does punch very solidly with every punch, and cumulatively, he can wear Taylor down unless Taylor fights a very smart fight.

Taylor won't be able to take any breathers in this fight and he'll have to be fully focussed for every minute of all twelve rounds. He has never managed that in his previous fights.

The Taylor who fought Lacy would definitely lose to Froch. I expect it to be a better version of Taylor than that, against Froch, but he'll have to be at his best for all twelve rounds to win, IMO.

He should be going after the best non-retired fighters. Kudos to him for making the fight with Taylor, but he should be talking about wanting to fight Kessler and Bute after that, not a retired fighter.

I think froch could do big things at super-middleweight. Although pascal wasn't a big name, the guy was skilled and come with a big heart. I think pascal would have given any of the top guys trouble (kessler, taylor inc). I also believe that taylor is going to have trouble getting up for this fight. We've already heard taylor say he has never heard of froch, when taylor is fighting 'names' he has had trouble getting up, now he's fighting a unknown. I struggle to see how he's going to get at his very best for this fight. I think, that he thinks it'll be an easy fight and if thats what he thinks he'll get knocked out. Froch by late KO!

He admits he got carried away in the Pascal fight - he wanted a tear-up because that's his personality and because he wanted to entertain the fans. But he knows he has to be smarter against Taylor.

Although it's part of his style to keep his hands low in general, because he thinks it gives him more leverage and allows him to throw shots from unexpected angles, he's said he'll keep his hands up a lot more against Taylor than he did against Pascal - not the whole time, but when he's just thrown a combination he'll bring his hands up to protect himself against counters.

Taylor's trainer Ozell Nelson seems to have studied Froch, and I don't think he's under-estimating him. And DiBella says Taylor is very pumped up for this fight. But we'll see ...

What's up Chase! Everything's fine with me, too, in Colchester, England. Yes, it's a shame more people haven't watched him, he's an entertaining fighter, and under-rated by many.
