Calzaghe prolly would have won, but whats so bad about froch callling him out? At least he's going after the best fighters.

But froch has a slight chance with the right hand, calzaghe got put down in round 1 of his last 2 fights wouldn't surprise me if froch hurt him during the fight.
The difference here is all of them will land, Froch defense is awful. Calzaghe would win every round, Frochs power is overrated, Pascal isn't world class and Froch hit him with some HUGE shots and didn't even buzz him.

I aint knocking froch for fighting Pascal, when calzaghe fought Will Mc Intyre and such and such for years.

Yes calzaghe would most likely beat froch, but froch might land something nice in that fight, calzaghe went down on round 1 twice in his last two fights, you cant ignore that.

Anyways, Froch deserves credit, there is no shame in losing to Taylor imo, hopkins lost 2 decisions to him.

Froch deserves no credit, his defence is just awful. I mean he doesn't even put his gloves up when knows he's getting tagged.

And Froch is at 168, Roy and Bernard were at 175 where they dropped him. Calzaghe hasn't been down at 168 for years. Froch thinks he's a "champion" when he fought for a vacant belt, he's as much of a champion as Cotto is for beating Jennings (we all know Cotto is world class but he didn't EARN the WBO belt)

He still got dropped though and jones was shot to smithereens, and yes froch's defense is nothing to write home about. See my thing with Calzaghe is, apparently he beats all these fighters, he said he would knock froch out () but he doesnt wanna get in the ring and prove it, he doesnt wanna get in the ring with dawson either, but he's happy to get in the ring with Branco Sobot. hmmm.

Its one thing saying it and another thing to do it. Yeah froch won a vacant belt, he talks a little ****, isnt as skilled as some of the others.

But he backs it up, he's willing to fight the top guys at 168 in their backyards.

Calzaghe would box his ears off. He'd be even more ******ed after 12 rounds with Joe.

Froch should concentrate on Taylor as he'll need to be at his best to beat him.

Oh shut the **** up Carl!

Damn its tedious. He wont come out of retirement for you, you are still a nobody! (dont be offended Froch fans, its true, im not a massive Calzaghe fan to be fair, just respect him)

Just goes on and on and on about calzaghe.....even when he cant get his fight on TV he manages to bring his name up.

Boxing needs guys like froch who dont bull****, get in there and make it happen. Its obvious why he's pissed off at Joe, its because he' s sick of Joe excuses and blatant stretching of the truth. Calzaghe is one of the quickest excuse makers in the sport, 1st off he doesnt wanna fight froch because froch only wants a pay day, then then was no money in fighting froch, then I think froch promoter may have offered him millions to fight froch, he turned that down cos he doesnt like him doesnt want to give him a payday again. The latest one was that he fights 'legends' "Your talking bernard hopkins, roy jones" whilst forgetting to mention they were a combined age of 83 or summin.

Excuses 24/7 and froch doesnt let him off the hook for it, which is why these two have problem. Froch respect him as a boxer, but froch is the one British boxer who wont indulge in these fantasies that all the top guys didnt wanna come to wales to fight for some wbo belt, so they all were afraid of him.

Boxing needs big fights and fighter who are willing to take risks, Froch is a guy willing to take a risk, rather than defending the wbc against tocker pudwill's and Kabery salems, he's defending it against one of the best straight away.

If he loses to taylor, he lost to world class, and at least he went to the USA and got on with it, rather than demanding the best fighters in the sport come to Nottingham to fight him.
Very Nice.....and i gotta say the key word is TAKE RISK..Froch had no problems making this fight happen too....against Taylor a former undisputed middleweight champ and still very dangerous fighter at 30 years =Big Risk...When did Calzaghe start taking risk like this?

since nobody rates Carl Froch that highly apart from Carl Froch.
