Hope he gets up, I think a trash talking dominant champion that will fight the best would be incredibly good.

Hey Carl, I have an idea, crazy idea: Shut up. Joe Calzaghe is retired, and if he were to come out for another fight, it'd most likely be a Hopkins rematch. You will never fight Joe Calzaghe, and by all accounts I highly doubt you will ever be as great as him.

You are currently the only British world champion, and every TV Network in Britain declined to broadcast your fight in April. What does that say about you?

I hope you're not taking this fight against Jermain Taylor lightly, because if you are, he'll knock you out even quicker

            Froch really needs to STFU!!!

He must first handle Jermaine taylor which will NOT be an easy task!!!

I can't believe how much **** this guy talks......I truly hope Taylor is able to beat him via KO........

Froch-Taylor is going to have a fantastic ending, I can feel it. It's just the perfect match-up. It's easy to point to Taylor's skills and athletic ability as reason why he'll win convincingly. But I think the intangibles favor Froch whose confidence has not been shaken in the manner Taylor's has, first a mind**** by Hopkins then a physical beatdown from Pavlik. The way he performed in the rematch impressed me but he also showed (and in the Lacy fight as well) moments of self-doubt. Froch's hands are deceptively quick and he's awfully awkward at times. Yeah, it'll probably lead him to get caught cold one day but he's just as capable of doing the same to another. I can't wait for this potential Fight of the Year.

I presume you meant alphabet title holder, not world champion. The only British lineal world champion is Hatton.

And the nearest thing to a world champion at Super Middleweight currently is Kessler.

Good post, and I agree. Froch has a very strong jab, too.

Froch has what it takes to pull off the upset against Taylor, but I can't help but to think he's overlooking what will be his most dangerous fight to date. Good for Taylor.

It's one thing to try to talk yourself into a fight, but instead Carl sounds like a little *****-boy who missed out on getting his favorite athlete's autograph. If he really wants to draw Joe into a fight, he should NEVER mention his name. He should carry on like he's the best SMW ever by beating Taylor, beating Kessler, beating Bute, etc, and in every interview he should lay claim to being one of the best British fighters of all time and the without a doubt the greatest SMW. Completely ignore Joe's legacy and the fact that he even exists. I think Joe would be more keen to react to feeling forgotten about and irrelevant than he will by being badmouthed by someone who doesn't even have a legacy himself.
