But I think the Malignaggi fight was a huge confidence-booster for him. Plus, FMS is the type of trainer who will get you feeling good about your abilities. Ricky is hitting the pads in that Mayweather style, as opposed to the Graham style.
He feels he's learning more and has additional tools in his toolkit.

his early fight with MAB in 03 not 07' when MAB was far from his prime,
and his leap to 147 to BEATDOWN not win BEATDOWN the bigger Delahoya.

Oh God, I wish you Pac nuthuggers would stop bringing up the ODLH fight which proved NOTHING! DLH was the favourite to win prior to the fight but nobody knew how the weight would affect him - and it turned out he was dehydrated and as a result physically and mentally weaker. So the fact that people are giving Pac credit for the win soley because he was the underdog before the fight, and ignoring the fact that almost anyone could have beaten DLH that night is just pathetic.

Yes, Pac went up in weight a fair amount, but thats only gonna increase his strength as most of the weight gain was pure muscle. Its not gonna have anywhere near as dramatic effect as dropping down weight classes to a weight you haven't been at for 7 years, especially when you mess up the weight loss and dehydrate yourself.

So, basically the ODLH win is a useless indication of Pac's abilities and form at higher weight divisions. Same with the David Diaz fight. The true indication will come on May 2nd and it's not gonna be pretty for him.

For a boxer who walks in straight lines and is constantly hit by his opponents, to only have been KO'd once his whole career against a bigger guy shows that he's got a pretty good chin. He may have been rocked slightly against Lazcano, but he didn't go down did he? What fighter hasn't been rocked by a punch in there career?
Manny will NOT KO Hatton. Cut him? yes, but KO? definitely not.

Morales was already on the way down when he beat pac., he already had taken many many violent beatings, that just goes to show how fkin good he was by beatin a younger stronger fighter past his prime.. and vs dlhoya ofcourse i didnt give pac a chance but i also had no idea dlh would go into the fight weighin 145 instead of 162, dehydrated and weak. Im not hatin guy, im a pacman fan too,i love his style and hes a very good fighter ,im just saying hes overrated because hes ranked #1 p4p but imo he hasnt really beaten any great fighters in their prime. yes he over powered JMM but jmm dominated him for about 17 of 24 rounds

The fact that Marquez got knocked down 3 times in the first fight and it was a draw, and got knocked down in the second fight and was robbed of victory, shows that Marquez dominated Pac, and if not for the knockdowns, would have won both fights.
