Cotto agreed early on that he wanted a rematch with Margarito and already had a deal on the table until Marg got caught trying to cheat. Fighters don't take fights they don't think they can win simply because they wanna please their fans. This is called PRIZE FIGHTING for a reason. Margarito vs anyone right now would make no sense to whomever he were to fight because there'd be no serious money involved, and nor would any logical company be airing a Boxing match in the US (or anywhere else) featuring Margarito due to the protests or bad publicity that network would get.

It's crazy how this whole Margarito scandal has really exposed how little some people here know about Pro Boxing...or the lack of dignity for that matter
