I admire Cotto and wanna see only good things for him but the fact is there is no proof Margo used plaster or whatever. I'm just trying to be a realistic fan here. It's based on how you interpret Cotto's behavior which = Nothing.

The majority of the boxing world feels the same way as Cotto. Just because Cotto doesn't want to condone Margarito fighting, by himself fighting him, doesn't mean he's scared. That's an inference you are grossly reaching for.

That is just an emotional reaction and its totally unreasonable. It would be a reach if Cotto still agreed to the rematch after Tony did his time. Bro like i said he agreed to a rematch for the public,his fans..of course a fighter won't say i got beat down i am now afraid...he saw the opportunity to avoid a second beat down without looking like a *****.(aka using the plaster excuse...it was only proven in 1 and i'm going to say it again 1 fight and that was'nt the cotto fight for damn sure!!!!!

No matter how much i wouldn't want a fighter to get a big pay day. Me as a boxer(I do box) if i loose by TKO and have my face all swollen and ****ed to find out that i was getting hit with plaster, I would have been outraged and i would have asked for a rematch immediately to get my revenge. Cotto does not want revenge, he was enraged at the fact that Arum is helping Margo because he wants no part of his nightmare chin and uppercuts again. I'll be damned if someone takes my 0 in the pro's by hitting me with bricks, I'd want that remacth in a finger snap.

How is it unreasonable? He got caught attempting to use plaster of paris. That basically is the punishment for that, there is no second chance, or there shouldn't be.

Cotto doesn't want to fight a cheat. Whether Margarito cheated against Cotto or not, he is still a cheat, that is now a proven fact. And because of that Cotto thinks Margarito should be suspended for life. I feel the same way. Most people do.
