We know what he can do against those guys. HE knows what he can do against those guys. Time to step it up.

Arthur Abraham knew what he could do against Lajuan Simon and Paulie Ayala.

Mikkel Kessler knew what he could do against Dmitri Sartison and Danilo Haussler.

Those guys are reigning champs.... Dirrell, just a contender.

Maybe you should stop to consider that Dirrell is already the WBO mandatory and is just waiting for his shot.

I would say his wins against Hanshaw and Oganov are more significant that anything Carl Froch has accomplished, and Froch has a belt as well.

"Well so-and-so is doing it too" isn't an adequate defense... especially when you are talking about guys who were either fighting their mandatories or in the case of Sartison, fighting for a vacant belt. Dirrell has far more options at this point, not being tied down by one of the alphabets.

I understand he's biding his time for a title shot, but if you're going to stay busy at least fight a live body while doing it. Someone who can actually give you decent ring time and maybe throw something at you that you haven't seen before, to prepare you for your title shot.

Pascal is probably the only one you could put on par with those too, but the bottom line is that even if Dirrell is being forced into these stay busy fights with sub par opposition, at least do what you're supposed to do and get rid of them early. Dirrell let Findley hang around for five rounds too long.
