I think this is the only way to stop these unprofessional heavyweight fighters from turning up in bad shape. If they fail the test they don't fight, and therefore don't get paid. I bet they'd train a bit harder then.

Last night I was near ringside at a fight card in Richmond, BC where there was a heavyweight named Paul Cheng in his debut. His opponent, Teddy Adeoba, had no muscle and a big flabby belly. Cheng KOed him in 40 seconds.

Would you pay good money to go and see a band in a concert if they just showed up and didn't even try to sing properly and put on a terrible show? These people are professionals who's job it is to keep their body in good condition as it is their main income. The fact that they're full time pros and can't even stay in shape is an utter embarrassment to themselves and the sport.Comment
