I do want to see that Vitor Ortiz kid some more before i just on his band wagon, because the only thing ive seen is a string of early round blow outs. How will he respond when the fight is not going his way or he will have to get off the canvas against someone who will fight him back such as Urango or Bradley? He looks good so far, but lets not choose him over tough veteran champions until we see him in a tough fight. Hope he doesn't turn out like that Panchito Bahado kid, who was about as young as Ortiz when he first started and was wiping everyone away early, until.............

i dont care how old casa was, ring belt or not ... that was a solid win, and not only win stoppage something thats never been done before ... casa's one of the best boxers of the last 10 years imo..

also vit's domination and stoppage over peter after all that inactivity was real impressive. so was hatton stopping paulie who also has never been stopped ... those are all slid wins. maybe not career defining but solid none the less ...

JMM win over Diaz impressed me more than Casa. And Vitali's win over Gomez to me is better win despite not looking as good in Peter because of more live opponent despite rankings.

these are young stars I understand their wins being hyped because they are young and exciting. but ortiz isn't ranked higher than any vets yet...I think execellent performaces shouldn't be made into more than they are by making opponent seem greater than actually are and Canada Joe I think you missed the point of thread if you think this is about race.

haha thats what i dont like everyone has different styles and people are better agaisnt some than are not, + they might be in worse shape.

And when after they lose ppl still hype the win because of how highly they were regarded they were at the time before the win. Recent examples Vitali over Peter loss to Toney and Chambers but ppl still hype his win because he was #2 ranked HW.Also Hatton over Malignaggi was ranked #2 but hadn't beaten Holt, Torres, Witter, Urango etc. And JMM win over Casamayor because he had the Ring title when Diaz and Campbell were better fighters in reality while he was dropped by Katsidis. Add more examples...
