Margarito should be banned from the sport. Cotto fighting him would be going against that.

You guys put too much stock into this "avenge your loss" notion, as if it means something in this situation. Margarito got caught trying to cheat. Cotto thinks he did it in their fight and thinks he should be banned....the same opinion as 95% of the boxing public. And than people say they lose respect for Cotto for not wanting the rematch? You have seriously got to be kidding me.

Cotto shouldn't want to do business with a man like that. He has nothing to prove. To do that gives him a pay day he doesn't deserve, and gives him exposure he doesn't deserve. Margarito doesn't deserve the spotlight, and that's more important TO THE SPORT OF BOXING than Cotto avenging a loss that is in question.

As much as I want to see this, Cotto should move on and tell Plasterito to go **** himself. But if Plasterito is willing to do it for free in Caguas, then by all means kick his ass and leave the rest for us.

Wasnt Margarito the one that beat him? Wasnt Margarito the fighter that Cotto fought in his highest PPV fight? Wouldnt Cotto get a fat ass check from fighting him as well?

I say this because your title seems like Cotto won the fight and Margarito is begging for a rematch and a paycheck, when Cotto knows that hed get a **** load of Money from it. Much more than a fight with Clottey.

If I were Cotto, i would do the re-match to humiliate 'rito, and clear his perfect record. I would not let that cheating scumbag get away with beating the crap out of me like that.

And, I know Cotto can beat 'rito, because he's stronger, more disciplined (he beat Mosley). Now I'm not saying this is for revenge only, but to AVENGE his perfect record, and I'm all for calling scumbags out in any way, in real life, a 'puter forum, or sports.

I also agree that 'rito should be banned from boxing. Mosly proved 'rito was cheating. The announcers confirmed 'rito put plaster in his gloves. But i want to see Cotto punish 'rito and avenge his only loss. Cotto is a great fighter and i believe he can be world champ in his weight class.
