Does dragging in other "unproven or proven cheaters" help Margaritos case?

Why do certain fans (mostly a certain latino group that will remain nameless) feel by dragging in other so called cheater this somehow helps Margarito out?

Especially when most of the other so called cheaters have not been suspended or anything even proven, unlike the case with Margarito.

Now we have conspiracy theories and all types of "comparisons" to try and bring what other fighters allegedly did to what was PROVEN Margarito did.

What Marg did is way worse than what Trinidad Mosley and Vargas did. The "anonymous" latino group tries to say that there's a bias because Marg is of their "anonymous" latino group but its bull****.

I've said this many times before, his reputation is built upon a myth, the myth that he is the most feared man in boxing. It was built not on who he beat, but rather who supposedly ducked him. The hype he caught is totally ridiculous.

To this day, for the life of me I cannot understand what made some "anonymous" latinos so butt happy about Margarito.

They're all pretty good about it.

They aren't heeding the Cotto fight, which they don't have to cause it's not proven, but they acknowledge that it's a very real possibility.

Props to most Marg fans, I think you guys have handled the situation pretty well all things considered.

Although I find performance enhancing drug use de****able.. It does not carry the same severity as having plaster in your gloves..

Drugs use is boxing is usually about enhancing stamina.. using muscle builders will give you power but take from EVERYTHING else.. Just ask Shannon Briggs ..

And drug use is about skimping on the training more than it is about making you BETTER in the ring.. Its more about less work for the same effect as doing lots of work..

One is about improving yourself.. the other is about HURTING your opponent..

and I think that is where the line gets drawn..

Agree. You can also draw parallels between the both of them; "improving yourself with PED's allows you to better hurt your opponent" etc. Well of course it does, but so does training without the use of PED's. The whole point of the sport is to improve yourself to better hurt your opponent, so that argument while valid doesn't hold nearly as much weight.

That's why I feel that stacking your wraps is about as malicious as cheating gets. And since it's all but etched in stone that Marg and his posse cheated, I think he needs to be dealt a much more severe blow than your run of the mill PED user.
