Lots of people dont like the kid but when chavez knocks the best thats when boxing will become what it was in the 90's. This kid is the future of boxing. Let them guide him to the point where all he is doing is defending his title. Come the day he only fights the best. Remember where this came from ''brickman''.
LMFAO!!!! Are you serious? The future of boxing???? He's a complete and total bum! He's fought absolutely no one. I will forever where this came from because nothing has made me laugh so hard!!!!! Chavez, the future.....LMFAO!!!!

A ton of guys have major major major trouble with Southpaws and even alot of Southpaws have major trouble with Southpaws. Williams is a much better fighter then Kirkland and he knocked Quintana out in round 1 but guess what? He also lost to Quintana over 12 real rounds and got hit clean a bunch. Even in the rematch Quintana still got a couple of good shots in. I just dont fully trust Williams against Southpaws. I still say that if he fought Quintana, Cotto, and Margarito a 100 times each that he would lose to Quintana more times then he would lose to the other 2 even though they are clearly better then Quintana and thats because of the Southpaw style.

Williams is better then Kirkland and should win but I dont fully trust him against the lefties and I think Kirkland can hit him clean alot and trust me, Quintana hits nothing like Kirkland. I said the same thing about Cintron and Berto. These guys should stick to fighting Rightes until there really ready for Southpaws. Williams even got hit clean alot against Sharmba Mitchell when he beat him. Its too dangerous and too high risk/low reward at this point
You're also forgetting that Williams improved since his loss to Quintana. In the second fight I saw much improvement despite lasting only one round, sure Williams can get outbox, but he can also knock you out in the process.

A fight with him vs. Kirkland would be nuts....a huge fight....but right now Kirklands a prospect/
Dawson would tear him up, you and I know that. Dawson is too slick and too skilled for Williams to handle, and too fast too. That fight should be out of the question unless you want to see Williams get systematically dismantled. Dawson would take it though, because he knows it would be an easy win.

This next fight is going to be very telling of Paul Williams future as a fighter. If he can whoop Winky, and look good doing it, a lot of doors will open up for him.

The reason nobody wants to fight him isnt because he's that great, its just because he has such giant physical advantages against most the guys at that weight.
For instance I dont think he's better than Mosley but at the same time I can see why Mosley, Cotto, Judah or anyone at 147 would avoid him altogether. He's basically picking on little guys. Only Clottey's crazy ass would probably take that fight, but thats why we love Joshua "he cannot tek my pounches" Clottey, lol.
Imagine Pavlik fighting Shane Mosley, Pavlik and Williams are the same size.
Williams needs to quit bitching about welters not wanting to fight him and move up to fight guys his own size.
I doubt guys at 160 and 168 are gonna duck him.

Please. Boxing divisions are about weight, not height. If Williams can make the weight that's all that matters.

How hypocritical is it for people to get on a Welterweight like Shane for not stepping up to fight Williams, when Williams himself won't fight an opponent for the VERY SAME REASON!!!!!!
Uh no. Williams want's titles and big money fights. Kirkland doesn't even have a belt. It would be a no win situation for Williams who would have nothing to gain fighting Kirkland right now.
