Malcolm X before he discovered Sunni Islam was a hateful man, No question about that in my mind. But when he discovered real Islam at Mecca he understood the world better. His judgement was not clouded by racial hatred as before.

Agreed...although some say Malcolm knew there were ******s rather than just black ones before he left the NOI....he prolly just didn't speak his mind since he had to watch what he said...

I'm not an expert for sure, but the most recent history course I took compared the nonviolent approach of MLKJr. with the more violent approach of Malcolm X.

MLKJr. was more tolerant of alternatives to his vision of the world, while X was not.

It may be wrong, and you may be right... I'm just a little hesitant to give more credence to a random person over the internet rather than an accreditted history professor.

I think he was just commenting on the fact that he likes to stand in there and fight/brawl alittle more than he actually should, especially for a fighter with his conciderable gifts.

If you weren't looking at it from such an overtly racist point of view you would see it was actually a slight swipe toward Mexican fighters, and only a backhanded compliment.

I'm not sure it's a backhanded compliment or a swipe... he is just saying he puts more value on entertainment than fighting a safe fight, and that may be because that is what works best for him.

I don't think Mosley is the type of guy to demonize his own style and the style that his is closely associated with in the typical Mexican warrior style... it's just a difference of priority.

Now, if Mayweather said something about Mosley fighting like a Mexican, I would be more inclined to think that he was saying it with some distaste, because his style is just so much different and he doesn't see the profit in fighting like that.
