He says they fight like warriors... Mexicans mostly identify with the warrior mentality.

Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Chavez, etc.

All those guys had pretty good boxing skill, but fought like warriors for whatever reason. It's just what they do, and it is inherent in their culture to expect that from their fighters.

He was just saying that he doesn't use his speed to move and jab, instead, he uses it get the best of other fighters on the inside and win in an exciting fight.

I don't know what a typical American fighter fights like... there isn't a universal style that Americans seem to use.
