Yes it would, and thats why he should of taken the fight. I mean did he really expect more money? he's virtually unknown fighting a former two weight champion and pretty big name. Might not be the biggest pay day of his career, but if he wins, it leads to much bigger pay days in the future.

Personally i think Matthew didnt really want any of it, or he's not thinking long term, or he's just ******ed.

Wow.... I'm not a huge fan of Zab, but Matthew should even be begging to fight him for free. Zab is levels above him as far as marketability is concerned. This could have been an Alfonzo Gomez v Arturo Gatti moment for him.. DUMBASS.. He mis-hustled himself...

After posting... I realized that Zab v Ricky Hatton couldn't be a bad fight either... I would watch it... just a thought.

Cotto would have been a very good win for Michael Jennings.

And Pavlik would have been a very good win for Gary Lockett.

Matthew Hatton would have as much chance of beating Judah as Michael Jennings had of beating Cotto.

If you know you're going to be beaten, I don't see why it's dumbass to insist on getting good money for it - after losing to Judah he'd go back to obscurity again.
