Puerto Ricans still look at Trinidad as a hero (granted they don't have many others), meanwhile I look at Marg as a disgrace. I'd like to think I'm more then a step above class wise lol1:

Now given Boxing's history, if Marg's trainers would have takin the Papa Trinidad aproach as oppose to the lamest and most obvious aproach to cheating, the whole world would have ignored it after a few weeks lol.

Tito never cheated and wrapping your hands a certain way will never have the same impact as putting plaster inserts on your wraps. There's no comparison to what Tito supposedly did against what Margo did and if papa Trinidad had wrapped Plasterito's hands through his whole career he would have never got to where he was before the Mosley fight.

Trinidad wraps were changed because Naz noticed it has en extra layer of gauze,Which would only protect more the boxers nuckles. By having extra guaze (not plaster) it would have no extra effect on the punching power or stiffness on the hands. In other words WOULD NOT HURT HIS OPONENT on the contrary by having extra gauze it would make is softer. Naz himself said afterwards that he knew Trinidad's wrapping wouldn't have any effect on Hopkins but he wanted to play with the mental aspect of his oponent.

Margarito is not a suspect. He's a proven crook. Make a thread about Tito if you want, but his case has nothing to do with this case at all. The only case that is relevant to gauge the amount of penalty is the case of Panama Lewis and Luis Resto.

The Pad's in his gloves were already described as stiff, but flexible. You could bend the pads. They weren't plaster bricks lol...He didn't pull a Jeffrey Resto.

Given the fact they weren't complete bricks made up of plaster...they could have just done what Titos dad did, which was just create that same flexible hard padding by wrapping gauze with tape as tight as you could over and over. It's just Cappetillo is a f#$%in moron.
