Cotto's broken nose, which meant he couldn't breath properly, which must have affected his stamina; and the fact that he didn't clinch in the fight whereas Mosley clinched a lot; and the fact that he fought on the retreat, which isn't his normal style, whereas Mosley never retreated; were all factors in that fight, whether you're prepared to admit it or not. It is very likely that Margarito cheated in the Cotto fight, but it is not a proven fact. It is perfectly possible, although very unlikely, that Capetillo simply didn't think of the idea of doctoring Margarito's knuckle pads with plaster before the Mosley fight.
