Fatdor is the best heavy because of the total package-not his striking.

    Roy would light him up.

Hell Cro Cop would light him up in K1 rules only. When you add takedowns, that's why Cro got his ass kicked in Pride. Different rules = different fights.
Are you high or just nuthug Dana White? Why do you spew the company line? I guess just about every single former HW champ the UFC has had sucks big time. Tell me: Who beats Fedor now in a MMA match and how would they do it?

Of course Fedor would lose in a boxing match against RJJ.

But he has beaten every single UFC champion, like 6 so far, and counting. And he beat two top 10 heavies in his last two bouts. Choked and beat unconscious to be specific about it. And those last two only took 4 mins combined. Silva retained the belt last time out due to non-contact injury of his opponent.

GSP, Silva, Fedor who cares, they're all good enough to make a case for #1 P4P, but by most people's logic who are against Fedor not being p4p #1 means UFC's own champions suck - which of course is exactly what Silva is. That doesn't make any sense at all. Don't listen to Dana, he's a promoter, he's got to promote his guys, go think for yourself next time.

**** Dana White. I hate the UFC. You missed the point completely.

UFC heavy champs have been pure **** for along time. Anytime Tim "sharter" Sylvia reigns supreme for a long time you have to ask yourself what the state of the heavy division is.

Also another newsflash: Dana thinks Fedor is crap. I think he's the best heavy.

I just have a real understand of what POUND FOR POUND means. Go look it the **** up. Almost always it excludes heavies. You really think if Fatdor were BJ Penn or GSPs size or Machida's size he wouldn't get ****d?

I never said who I though the MMA p4p1 was did I? Way to assume.

No shock that Fedor nuthuggers jump the gun and just assume ****. There's no logic for anyone when talking about him.

Dude, chill out. I hug my own nuts, not into other people's like that. Some people exclude heavies, some don't for p4p. Its your opinion, that's cool.

        ...slowly backs away...

        Oh, Btw
BJs done, his mom fights his battles now. Fedor would have an answer for Machida, but maybe not for GSP. Who knows, by the time he's done, GSP may be regarded as the best MMA fighter ever...wait, I thought I was a Fedor nuthugger...oh yea Fedor > god, I'll never think otherwise ever again.

They are a jack of all trades and ARE NOT world class at any one discipline most of the time. This is Joe Rogaine marketing hype.

And I've been following UFC/MMA much longer than most of the trash that call themselves fans now and know nothing about the sport.

Look at Vitor belfort and how great his boxing looked in MMA. Then go look up his boxing "record". He failed to make the "Great" Brazilian Olympic team getting KOed in one round.
I hear you but what I'm saying is why Roy Jones of all people? Calling out a 37 year old fighter way past his prime, doens't make sense to me, it's a lose lose situation.

I agree BJ is done. He's been around for a long time and age catches up to most people.

GSP I'd give him P4P status but frankly I can't ever get the image of a p4p prime champ blown out by a reality show winner in his PRIME out of my head...so we'll see. I still think he lacks heart and confidence deep down.

Sakuraba will always be the greatest Modern MMA champion in my opinion but that's just me. I'm basing that on accomplishment/skill/opposition etc. And I was NOT a Sak fan.

Maybe he thinks he can beat a guy that old. He's in for a rude awakening.

Or maybe he just wants to fight his idol to see how he is doing.

Maybe it's a PR stunt to get more money from that Bald *** Dana. I dunno.

I'm a firm believer in MMA fighters should stay in MMA cages, and boxers NEED to stay in boxing rings.....for the fighters' own safety and because it's TWO DIFFERENT SPORTS!!!.....But in this case, I actually see Silva winning the fight. Silva boxed professionaly before, has good fundamentals, while Roy is a fighter who fought strictly on his reflexes. Now that Roy's reflexes are gone, and he's 37 years old I see Silva constantly tagging him. Plus the fact that Roy doesn't protect himself all that well(never did really). LEAVE THIS FIGHT ALONE ROY!!!

not at all. How do you see that?

forget Roy Jones age for a sec the only reason Silva's calling him out is for a payday.

why would Anderson Silva take on a no name in boxing and risk getting destroyed

when he can fight Roy Jones Jr. and do the same thing (probably get destroyed) but make much more money doing it.
