    Let remind you people something.
The last Undisputed Champion in the WW division Was Floyd Mayweather

    Not Shane Mosely
    Not Clottey
    Not Margarito
    Not Cotto

As far as I am concern until one of those dude become undisputed Champion of the division like Floyd was when he retired.... He doesnt have to fight none of them because he would be going backwards not forwards.

What can floyd achieve in the WW division that he hasnt already achieve?

When you are on top of the mountain like floyd was when he was in the Ww division. You dont go back down the mountain to try to knock people off.
You Wait until somebody gets close enough to the top where you are at and then you knock them off.

You guys need to get some sense of order in boxing.

    Like it or not.

He was undisputed and on top of the mountain when he was in the division.
    Undisputed.
    Undisputed.

Nobody has yet got to where he has gotten and he has left the mountain top vacant for almost 2 years now...

So People saying he needs to fight WW's
    are forgeting to ask themselves
    Why?
When he was already the undisputed champion when they were there.
Yup, Floyd was undisputed yet Cotto fought the better fighters at 147 and still is. Why WOULDN'T Floyd want to fight him?

Well to be quite honest when you proclaim yourself as the GOAT and then dont even fight the best in the division your retiring in your prime at well your gonna get criticized and fairly so! if he really was the best he would want to go after all these big fights instead of ducking them!

The only fight that was there before he retired was Cotto.
Champions should want to fight the best. Cotto said he wanted Floyd. No, he didn't call him out by insulting him. He shouldn't have to to get a fight. Other posters are asking why he never openly challenged him. I've countered where Margs did that and it got him no where. It takes two to tango.

Both Cotto and Margarito have been seen as the biggest threats to Mayweather yet he has shown no desire to make either fight at 147, but has had many excuses. You cannot change that fact. You're talking about money, but I can show more than one occasion where Floyd said it wasn't about money but legacy, including the link I just provided. So grow up, turn the "caps lock" button off and learn to spell before calling anybody else dumb.
WOW. margacheathoe? you still got the nerve to mention that name.. cool..

Mayweather told Brian Kenny in an ESPN interview. Asked about Cotto: "He hasnn't called me out. He doesen't want to fight. If he wants to fight me i'm here, i am m.r. HBO himself If he wants to talk to anyone talk to me."
That was after the Oscar De La Hoya fight when Mayweather was about to sign for a rematch with DLH. Too bad i don't find the video anymore on youtube. but those who saw it or if you can find it you should post it up here for Floyd haters.

u guys keep on saying floyd doesnt wanna fight cotto but when you look at the facts cotto is not even serious about making the fight happen. Lol

pls watch the gomez cotto post fight interview wit larry merchant.

youll see cotto crumbling and stuttering. lmao.

It's always been obvious that Cotto is terrified of Floyd. And he should be, cuz Floyd will not only hurt him but he'll embarrass him and end the hype about Cotto being an elite fighter. Cotto's a mediocrity and he knows it.

The best option at the time was Cotto. Not Margarito. People would have complained at that time if Floyd fought and beat Tony. What I have been saying throughout the thread in witch most people seem to agree is that neither of them went after the other. Cotto would only say he wanted to fight Floyd when someone would ask him directly "do you want to fight Mayweather." He did as much as Floyd as far as making the fight happen. Nothing. If you blame Floyd you have to blame Cotto as well or blame neither. Margarito calling out Floyd only made sense for Margarito at that point in time. He was not considered the best at the moment and had much smaller following at the time. Tony is a bad example. I would have loved it if Cotto would have pulled some Tony tactics in calling Floyd out but Cotto is too classy for that. I would have excepted just a casual call out.

What does what Margarito tried to get away with in the Mosely fight and challenging Floyd to his face have to do with one another? Beautiful spin you put on that...cool.

Funny but just posted an inteviewwith Cotto yet you've chosen to ignore that. Like I've said, fighters shouldn't have to call other fighters out to get their attention. The best should want the best.
