Becayse Tszyu would end Gatti's career.

As for his rediscovered technique... Well he still gets hit a lot and when you fight somebody like zoo all the heart in the world will only take you to hospital with brain damage. Gatti is good but he is not one of the all time greats(like Pryor) to really compete with Kostya.
Dude. This guy is awesome. He's been right on in both of his posts that I've read. He gets right to the point. Even though I think he was disagreeing with me, I still love it.

Anyway, I wasn't saying he would beat Tzyu. I was saying he wants to make the fight, and his heart and power and skill make him competitive. I agree with your statement, But I don't think It would be an absolute blowout the way it was for De La Hoya. Tzyu would get hit a coupla times and do that thing where looks all surprised and offended, and at some point early on he'd might even go down, like he did against Diobelys Hurtado. But then he would get up and then he would start knocking Gatti down. Eventually Gatti wouldn't be able to get up in time.

Gatti would be better off fighting Mayweather first. If he beats Floyd, whichis unlikely, he can face Tszyu next. Tszyu will surely destroy him.

In my mind, based on what Gatti has given us, he can fight whoever the hell the wants from here on out. Let him make some dough.

is Gatti a coward? no ****ing way!! do i want to see him get beat up by Kostya tszyu, no. Gatti is a tough guy, he'll never go down, but Tszyu is in another level - he's a lot better fighter than Micky Ward ever was, he'll give Arturo 12 round beatdown, i'm not sure i want to see a mismatch like that. His management probably doesn't either

Your partly right in your prediction of Gatti's demise from this world if he were to fight Tszyu, but no way will it be a " 12 round beatdown" it would be more of short and ghastly beating inside of 3 - 5 rds.

You can't call any professional fighter a coward much less a former champ. Gatti's group is trying to prolong his career and fighting Tszyu now would do just the opposite. Gatti's fighting style would unmercifully fit hand to glove with Kostya's. It would be very much like Delahoya - Gatti.

Gatti knows the end is near for him and he doesn't want his last fight to read KO'd By....................

Gatti deserves a couple of pay days and a couple of cream puffs to end his career..............

****** thread. Do the math: Gatti + HBO , Tszyu + SHO = NO FIGHT!

Gatti is no coward, his management team doesn't want him to lose.
