Totally understand. My question is, why be a fan of a fighter who's only looking to milk the sport? Its all good for him, but how does that benefit u as a fan? Im concerned about money, but its MY OWN MONEY. Not another mans money. I also watch tennis. Big fan of Federer. Would it make sense for me to prefer he take on less than the best opposition because it would bring him more money than if he were to take on the best for less? No! Why? Because that's not why i watch sports. I want to see the best take on the best, and so should everyone else.Comment

Hard for them to accept it...I seriously dont see why you're arguing with him. He'll never give Floyd his props.Comment

Nobody's denying what he accomplished early in his career. 130-135 was solid. How long can u ride that wave though? You cant live off your past wins from 10yrs ago, then opt to take on easy challenges from that point on in order to protect your 0, then claim to still be the best. It doesnt work that way. In this sport, its all about show and prove. Saying you can beat someone is not the same as actually doing it.
that true but us saying that he ducked some one dose not actually mean he was ducking a fighter.Comment

Once again, you're putting too much emphasis on titles and belts. Baldomir was probably the worst Lineal WW champ the sport has ever seen. C-level fighter at best. Oscar at that point was just a name. He was a full time promoter/part time fighter. Way past his best not to mention. I'll give Floyd credit for beating Hatton.Comment

Baldomir = bum with a belt. You're only defending Baldo because Floyd fought him. Had Floyd never fought him, you would be singing the same tune as me regarding Baldomir.Comment

Hopkins resume and level of comp is impressive and respectable win or lose.
Tito's resume and level of comp is impressive and respectable win or lose.
Cant say the same for Floyd from 140+. His best wins were against Judah and Hatton. Decent but not great. Especially for someone of Floyd's caliber.Comment
