Montiel completely ducked Morel, who is the mandatory to the WBO title. So he needs to take care of bussienes with Moel wich I think will outbox the **** out of Montiel!!!

Im sorry but Morel is not that good. He has beaten hasbeens and never were's to get back into the picture after his schooling at the hands of Gallito Castillo.

The dude lost hen he was at 112 buddy like a million years far back.

At 118, he looks faster, stonger and the major problem now, is that he have KO power.

Morel, can out box Montiel from mid range easily.

Was it really Montiel's choice of opponent for the interim WBO strap? I know Morel is ranked 2 by the organisation, but i'm not sure Montiel had much influence on he would fight for the title.

No. They were going for the full WBO belt.

As soon as Gerry steps in the ring against Juanma he is getting striped. Since Morel is the number 1 contender for the WBO he is entitle to fight for the title with the number 2 guy, but since Montiel was the WBO champ at 115 he is entitle to fight for the vacant WBO also with the number 1 contender, wich is Morel.

The fight was almost made but Montiel back out of it. It was schedule for next Saturdays Latin Fury Card in Mexico!!!!!!

uh this has been against guys like Chapo Vargas and Heriberto "I am a career KO waiting to happen" Ruiz so while you may see a new and improved Morel I see the same old guy just heavier and beating up on stiffs

and uh the Gallito fight was at 115 and 4 years ago not a million bazillion.

and to be honest I could care less about Hot Pants Montiel so whether he ducked someone or not is of no concern to me

but seeing what he can do and what Morel can do I don't see Morel having anything that would bother Montiel.......at all

I don't know what makes you suggest Morel could beat Montiel, he obviously had a busy year in 2008, but fought nobody of note.

However, i will agree with you that if he was rated number 1, Montiel should have faced him for the belt as he has earned his ranking.
