Fernando Montiel Says He Wants Vic Darchinyan Next

You won’t find Fernando Montiel’s name on any of the world pound-for-pound rankings, but it should probably be there. He’s only lost two fights in thirteen years and both of those were by way of close decisions. [details]

Darchinyan is too small for him, why not take on Morel as he was?

I hope Darchinyan takes this fight. Montiel is possibly the best boxer between 115-118 and the only way to prove that is a fight against Vic. My only concern is his constant division change from SuperFly to Bantam. Maybe he struggling to make 115?

I know nothing on Montiel's next opponent, but overly confident he'll win. If Vic accepts Fernando's challenge, i'm sure Montiel will be happy to drop back to 115 with little problem.

I dont think Montiel can make 115 anymore, but Darchynian has been talking about moving up in weight.

Darchinyan is fighting Joseph Agbenko for IBF bantamwweight title.

Montiel completely ducked Morel, who is the mandatory to the WBO title. So he needs to take care of bussienes with Moel wich I think will outbox the **** out of Montiel!!!

I don't think Montiel can withstand Darchinyan's power. But, Darchinyan has proved that he can stand superb boxers. I like Darchinyan in this one.
