IF the ref allows Hatton to fight Pac like he did Kosta, it wont matter how much timing or speed Pac has because he wont be in control of his own arms. Call it wrestling cheating what ever, he probably wont be allowed to get away with it, but it's a possability that cant be ignored.

Samurai - You said Pac needs to hit him hard early to get his respect, wont work (in that it wont make him stop). I've seen Hatton steemroll forwards no matter what he gets hit with. Dont forget Floyd hit him over and over and over and over, and Ricky still kept coming forwards. He'll keep coming whether his face is falling apart or he is seeing stars. He'll only stop when he gets KTFO! This of course could end up being suicide for Ricky, as it was against Floyd.

I've no idea how this will end up, I hope my boy Ricky can pull it of. We'll have to wait and see. Probably Fight of the year imo.

This I agree with. It's a point I've raised many times on here when people have said "if Ricky fights Pac like he fought Kostya, it's over for Pac". I always said it depends on how strict the referee is.

You could be right man, but as you said, fighting like that could cost him dearly!

Not putting Manny down because I think he has an edge over Hatton but Manny has got the same aura around he as Margarito.

He beat Cotto and then was hyped up until he was beat by SSM, Manny was susposed to get crushed by DLH and that was that but he didn't he was smashing DLH all night, and by the looks of it most people at that weight could of taken DLH to the cleaners.

Still an awesome fight to watch.

Didn't say that, hype is just hype no matter who it surrounds.

i agree, and so now people are saying size doesnt matter against opponents...so we just toss convetional wisdom out the door...conventional wisdom says hatton is favored to win

It's a good hype because its created an Awesome fight, even more excited about it than the Hatton v Mayweather.

But not all good boxers have hype around them, some mentioned than Khan gets more hype and praise while there are still better fighters at his weight who are undefeated who do not get the attention, but that's drifting from the plot.
