    just different gameplan.

with oscar it was don't let him catch you , turn him and make him pay when he misses.

with david it was don't let him get off and always be first.

with ricky it was to catch him coming in and use his own aggression against him.

    perfect gameplan each time.

roach was most worried about oscar's left hook (everybody was) , that left hook could ko manny in one shot so he wanted manny to not get careless.

that's why i like roach. some trainers say the same **** or have their fighters do the same **** no matter what the opponent. since manny has progressed roach has been having him do different things.

roach knows his stuff. everytime he says something in between rounds and manny follows it something good happens.

This just my take, and not Tua's. Roach is just being safe, specially with the likes of Oscar's fight changing left hand, it can turn a losing fight into a winning one. He was telling Manny to be cautious and just box Oscar in the first minute of every round, Oscar just got a minute respite and might go all out at the start of any round he chooses to. He knew he was trailing badly on all scorecards.

Just before the 9th round, he told Manny that it was his job to knock out the guy, but Oscar quit on his stool and denied Manny a highlight reel KO, just like what Tua said...

No doubt. Roach is a smart guy. The reason why they mesh well is because Roach sees it and Pacquiao listens. Pacquiao is something else...
