    Why are Mayweather

    Fans.. making excuses up already??

The man is IN his prime...

He has been in very few wars.. and rarely gets hit.. he is always in top shape.. does not abuse drugs or alcohol..

The 30 year old athlete being done is a standard long past it's worth.. by about 30 years now..

If he is done and ripe for a loss due to his Ring-Rust or diminished skills

what does that say about these guys??.. (age listed is at time of the fight)

    Hatton-30
    De La Hoya-35
    Baldomir-36
    Judah-30
    Mitchell-35
    Gatti-35

Or the guy he is thinking about coming back against who is about to turn 36, Juan Manuel Marquez ???

How do you justify this without discrediting Floyd's wins ???

    Someone please explain??

I saw that idiotic thread and didn't even bother entering it to see if there were other idiots who agreed with him. It's a crock of ****.

The layoff COULD BE a valid reason... but he is not out of his prime.

How come De La Hoya's long lay offs where never a "valid" reason?

Vitali came back after almost a 4 year lay off...

Seregi Lyachovich came back after 16 months and fought the best fight of his career...

              there are countless others

So you are both saying, that inactivity plays no part when coming back to fight... just because select few fighters have done it successfully?
