Casamayor was on a hot streak going into that fight with Marquez (I know, he should've lost to Santa Cruz, but he didn't. And he bounced back and KO'd Katsidis in a FOTY candidate in which everybody thought he was going to lose.).

And then Nate takes credit for Marquez beating Diaz? Because he ended Diaz?

In my opinion Casamayor looked like **** against santa cruz i couldnt even give him a round(well maybe one round). Second casamayor beat katsidis whos showed he cant hang with the big boys by losing to a declining casamayor and to diaz who lost to nate. SO I still give credit to marquez but the fight with casdamayor shouldnt have even been that close especially if your the p4p #2 fighter in the world.

You understand how styles make fights right? You have 2 counterpunchers in Marquez and Casamayor. Normally, the styles that require less effort to execute are counterpunching and defensive fighters which suit "older" fighters like Hopkins and Casamayor.

Casamayor a slick, southpaw counterpuncher. He's always going to give other counter punchers issues. Thats why the fight was close. Not to mention the fact that he still has a punch as proven against Katsidis.

Except not really because Golden Boy had already tried to get a Nate Campbell fight for him. Not to mention the Casamayor fight was for the true championship and not belts, so that's pretty meaningful.

And no it wasn't because after Campbell-Guzman was cancelled, they pretty much agreed upon Funeka-Campbell.

Besides, Marquez's win over Diaz is a lot better then Campbell's due to the way he won. Campbell didn't ruin **** against Diaz, he wore him down through the fight and cut him, but overall he didn't ruin him. Diaz still had that intensity that he always had before when he fought Katsidis and Marquez (for the first couple of rounds, till Marquez started slipping Diaz's punches).

Also the fight with Casamayor was Marquez first fight at 135 and he Koed Casamayor who was basically the top dog at that weight division.

                  you scared?

nate/jmm is a logical fight if jmm want to try out 140.

I think that's why Nate is getting **** on the board here.

ruining Diaz at 25? Don't you think that's a bit much for Campbell to state?

so sure Campbell does get hated on here (some un necessary) but to say he ruined Diaz is just **** talking.

You really rank Casamayor ahead of Diaz because he had the ring belt? He was almost stopped by Katsidis?
