The Perfect Floyd Tuneup?

This fight would never happened because there isnt enough money in it but a perfect comeback fight would be against Spadafora. Dude is undefeated, he also hasnt done much in the last few years, some felt that his style would give Floyd trouble, and they get to settle there old score. It would never happened but if all things were equal I think that it would be a very good tuneup

Spads needs to drop down from welterweight he's not big enough to fight up there. Hopefuly he's just having a few tune up fights there and is going to take the weight off as he steps up.

A nice tune up IMO would be Quintana.

It's a pretty easy fight (in comparison to the rest of the top of the WW division), fairly big money fight for a tune-up and will actually help his resume quite a bit I think.

I swear I think everyone is sleeping on Berto. I think this kid is much better then people think and would give both Cotto & Mosley hell even right now. I wouldnt fight him in my 1st fight if Im Floyd because Floyd hasnt shown that he is a true WW yet which "could" make that fight somewhat difficult. Berto is a good tuneup for a Mosley fight, not a Pac fight. If he wants Pac then I say fight JMM or Bradley

Also, I dont think Floyd cares about the belts at all. People always talk about belts but most fighters dont care about them unless there up & comers. Floyd can fight for a belt anytime he wants so thats never a big deal for him. If he wanted to he could fight any guy right now who has a belt. Its not a big deal

Perhaps he would give Cotto and Mosley hell, but that is because they don't have that great of defense.

Berto has no defense, so Floyd would be able to hit him... a lot, and Floyd's defense would take Berto's offense out of it quite a bit.

Berto would get diced up by Floyd... true story.

I can't believe I'm trying to convince DLT that Floyd would have an easier time with someone than he thinks.

DLT berto is a good quality fighter but i dont think he wil ever been in the elites of the sport...i had collazo beating him...and someothers did as well....but he is a good fighter
