JMM is one of the best boxers of alltime (in my opinion at least)

Here is my analysis of why FMJ will want to fight him...makes sense to me:

First, I like Mayweather but he is afraid. He is not afraid of the boxers per say, but of losing his perfect record, hence his ultra-defensive style.

Second, Cotto is way too hard of a puncher for Mayweather's taste. Pacquiao is way too fast for Mayweather's taste and will be even more of an avoided threat if he beats Hatton in decisive fashion since Mayweather admittedly stated that he had to wear Hatton down before koing him.

This leaves Hatton again, provided he wins...Mayweather already knows he can beat him.....he even said that he wants to fight Hatton again (easy pickings)

So, if Hatton loses he is out the mix leaving JMM. Mayweather will undoubtedly choose him because of the speed differential and most importantly, his age. Given the P4P status of both guys and the fact that Mayweather is faster and younger, there are less inherent risks for Floyd.

He is transparent as his career actions tell you what kind of a person he is...Big money fights with minimal risks; the P4P status will be the catch-phrase slogan for the fight and marketing tool for the fight. Mayweather retires when the threatening names enter the mix in hopes that they will lose a big fight while he is retired, making a fight between him and the threat less desirable to the public so he can turn the fight down and it will seem legit.
He then unretires to have his pick of boxers who he has obvious advantages over. After this type of fight he retires again!!

Oh yeah,I don't thinkit will be an easy fight because Marquez is one of the sickest counter punchers I have ever seen!! Just from Mayweather's point of view, he may think that JMM is an easier target because of his age.

I hope if they do fight, that Marquez whoops him.

If Mayweather fights Marquez or Pacquiao, i'll bet all my points on Floyd with you

Marquez and Pacquiao are great, but Floyd is a very special talent
