Let me see how Pacman does in the Hatton fight, if he wins easily I'll bet on a Mayweather Pacquiao fight. Not on a Marquez fight though, Mayweather is too fast for that kind of a bet.

Not saying that Floyd will lose or not lose against certain guys- just that he is going to take the path of least resistance in my opinion.

I was also saying that Marquez was a SICK counter puncher, not that he is slick. I would say that Mayweather would win a UD over Marquez because of his speed but he is not going to KO him and that fight would be closer than a lot of people think it would be. I just think that Marquez is a true warrior and I would like to see him win, although not likely.

yeah because floyd doesnt have timing himself...floyd is fast, but not that much...hes fast on his feet more than with his punches...his best qualities are sense of distance, defense, accuracy and ...timing.

Floyd fighting JMM as a tune-up before fighting PAC just doesn't make any sense. TS is right.

This was a strategic decision.If Floyd beats JMM that means Manny can not fight JMM,he has to fight a big fight and the best would be Floyf-Manny
There was also a chance Ricky would win against Pacman.If Ricky had won,he had mentioned he wanted JMM in 2009 and Mayweather in 2010.By fighting JMM ,Floyd would destroy Hatton's opponent forcing Hatton-Mayweather fight to happen
