That's a caricature but like all caricatures, there is a germ of truth behind it (not the Hatton is rubbish bit or the "all he can do is pick on smaller guys bit", but the rest).

The fact is that the only reason people give Hatton a chance is that Hatton is the naturally bigger man, and Pacquiao hasn't really been tested above 130lb. That's just a fact. If Pac loses, he'll go back down to Lightweight, and P4P is based on a fighter's peak weight.

A natural 140lb fighter beating a natural 130lb fighter doesn't make the 140lb fighter better pound for pound.

That's also why the absolute highest Hatton would be likely to go to in the P4P lists is #3 (and only that high if it's a dominant win).

i don't think pac will fight toe to toe against hatton....he will be boxing him, peppering his right & straight lefts....its for hatton to adjust his game....pac is smarter in fighting bigger opponents nowadays

Most people think that Hatton is a one dimensional overrated fighter who has only beaten old guys and weaklings, I don't agree with that and think that Hatton will prove many people wrong in this fight.
