BUDDY! Lennox RETIRED after that fight, he went home and played with poodles rather than giving vitali a rematch.

All the while the german fans chant viiiiiiitalllllli, like they are at a funeral or something. Man this **** is killing boxing and it has to stop!

You can't blame the Klitschkos, it's the lack of quality of opposition in the division. At least they're willing to fight anyone there.

Lennox Lewis was the last great heavyweight, there'll probably never be another great one cuz great athletes don't box anymore. To be a great boxer you have to train and learn your craft starting from where you're a teenager. These days, every really athletic teenager who looks like he's going to be big gets recruited for basketball and football. If you choose basketball then you can get free coaching at school, you can play in front of crowds of all your friends and all the girls at your school, you get shady agents giving you all kinds of free stuff, and you can go to college on scholarship. If you choose boxing all you do is train for hours and hours in the gym and you have to do it on your own after school.

Think of all the great athletes who play linebacker or power forward. The guys who get cut from camp in the NBA and NFL are all better athletes than the Klitschkos. But since all the heavyweights are bums, the least bad bum gets to be #1.

There are still great athletes in some of the other weight classes though. Floyd Mayweather could still choose boxing cuz he's too small for football or basketball. Plus Floyd Sr. forced him to.

All it comes down to is that more youngsters used to take up boxing tha today. Imagine if Lebron James and Dwight Howard had pursued a career in boxing not the NBA. World Class American Heavyweights?

The just rule the division straight up, there are thousands of heavyweights out there... are you really going to blame 2 guys for whats happening to the division ?
