    Atlas is a hateful idiot.

I watched the German-language stream instead of the ESPN stream, even though I don't understand German, so I wouldn't be angered by the bashing and discrediting I knew he'd be doing to Vitali. I was really looking forward to this fight and didn't want him to ruin it for me.

Teddy's always hated the Klitschkos, and will even lie about them to discredit them. For example, he always mentions Vitali's reach.

He keeps talking about some "reach advantage" Vitali has. According to Atlas, that's the only reason Vitali wins.

    Reach of several boxers:

    Michael Grant 86"
    Lennox Lewis 84"
    Hasim Rahman 82"
    Paul Williams 82"
    Steve Cunningham 82"
    Tony Thompson 81.5"
    Wladimir Klitschko 81"
    Juan Carlos Gomez 80.5"
    Vitali Klitschko 80"

Teddy is a liar. He knows as well as I do that Vitali does not have an exceptionally long reach advantage, yet he talks about it over and over again, so to avoid being honest and acknowledging Vitali is an excellent boxer. Vitali's unique SKILL is the main reason he keeps on dominating his opponents.

Lennox Lewis really had a long reach advantage over Mike Tyson, 84" to 71" and David Tua, 84" to 70".

You would think that since reach is so important, then Michael Grant with his reach of 86" should have won a world title. But perhaps Grant was unsuccessful because he had a very ****** trainer, namely, Teddy Atlas.

That and, of course, the endless litany from these hateful characters about how the heavyweight division is so horrible ever since blacks stopped dominating it.

I thought that George Foreman was a good announcer, at least until he sold out to get his job back.

I watched both fights last night and the Vitali fight didnt bother me that much, I though the ref was good until that weird point deduction. Ive always disliked Atlas but I didnt hate it as much as I expected.

Now the guys on the Roy Jones fight, who ever the hell they were, were HORRIBLE. I mean I guess its their job to hype the fight but their vice grip around RJJ's nutsack was disgusting. I dont know how many times I heard them say "oh look at the speed for a 40 year old man, he is amazing"

That rule sounds optional though, meaning the dumb ref didn't have to enforce the rule. He is the ref, he can enforce whatever rules he wants. He isn't going to get fired if he doesn't enforce that ****** rule. Hell, some refs seem shady as hell stopping fights prematurely as if their paid off by promoters,

I think Brian Kenny did a good job. He got exicted when Klitchsko knocked Gomez down, which was key. I think he's definietly better behind the desk though.

Atlas was garbage as usual. Same with that damn WBC rule. I'm so glad they banned that from the states.

What happened to great boxing announcers who just talked about what was going on in the fight, like Les Keiter and Don Dunphy?
That's called the job of the play-by-play announcer. The Lampley's, Tessitore's, etc. Their job is to call the action and in turn their going to sound neutral. It's the color commentator's job to provide insight and be brutality honest with what they see. Sometimes their right, sometimes their wrong, sometimes their going to say things you don't like.

Atlas discredited one of my favorite trainers recently, Naazim Richardson, but I'm not flipping out over it. I still respect Atlas since he's a stand up guy and looks out for fighters and the sport and does charitable things outside of the ring as well.

Apparently as shown by the thread starter some of you don't like him because he has a ***ish father and therefore in your sick heads he hates white fighters. Yea, I guess that would explain why the Atlas Foundation has helped countless white Christians.
