he can't handle manny's handspeed.

hatton is gonna try to leap in with his dumb , reaching left hook and he's gonna eat straight lefts everytime.

the fight will only be competitive when hatton is in the clinch throwing punches. this fight ain't in britain. the ref ain't gonna let him do the **** he did against kostya.

manny can probably only beat ONE elite fighter at 140. unfortunately for ricky it's him.

pac probably can't beat 140 guys like holt , torres , bradley , etc.

but hatton is tailor made for pacquiao.

I think it would raise a few eyebrows but I don't think it'd be particularly shocking considering Pacquiao and his chin have been relatively untested above 130. David Diaz and a weight drained/shot DLH doesn't prove much so losing to Hatton probably won't be too shocking.

Honestly, it's a tough one to call....

There's 2 ways it can go IMO:

Hatton gets caught on the way in, Pac keeps moving and stays away from the ropes, catching Hatton as he lunges in with power shots, eventually wearing him down and stopping him (or winning or decision.)

Or;

Hatton bullies his way inside and works Pac to the body, wearing him down and stopping him late.

My guess is it'll be a mix of the 2, but how things shape up down the strech (Who's punches have more effect as the fight goes on) will determine the outcome. I favour Pac, but not by a long way.

Pac is getting better and better on staying away from danger zone, Now that being said Pac can easily stay away from Hattons lunges using his speed. Hatton better adapt and change his style of fight cuz he will get hit from angles and speed that he hasnt seen before or else it will be an easy night.. Honestly i dont think Hatton can fight anybody as elusive as Pacquiao, if many people here thinks that mayweather is elusive Pac is 10 times more. I really cant see Hatton winning this one, speed will real factor in this bout...

im not sure...i mean pac is obv the better boxin and is much quicker, but hatton is gonna be entering the ring prob heavier than Oscar did and he was fightin at WW, dont get me wrong i think pac prob gonna do enough but im not sure itll b by stoppage and hatton does have a good chance if he does land some big shots, cause hatton can **** at 140 lets not forget!

i think its goin to decision and prob in favour of pac, because he wont get hit as much as ricky...ricky has a better chance against pac than PBF tho!!

You're joking right? Pac is 10 times more elusive than Mayweather?? Mayweather's style is to fight on the back foot and move around the ring counter punching. Pacquiao can never claim to be good at fighting on the back foot, and likes to come forward alot more than Mayweather. Mayweather is defensively much better than Pac and just as quick. If Hatton was able to catch Floyd a few times early on, he is sure as hell gonna catch Pac.

All Hatton needs to do against Pac is constantly move to his left, away from Pacquiao's left hand, and jab, jab, jab. If he does this, then Pac will need to over assert his left which will leave him open to the big shots from Hatton. Hatton can also come in and force Pacquiao backwards, take him to the ropes and fight on the inside. ODLH was able to take Pac to the ropes on a few occasions in their fight, and when he did he was able to hurt Pac with the few shots he landed. Imagine what a fit, prime Hatton will be able to do to him.

Pacquiao's chin and body are more suspect than Hattons, especially at 140 against a stronger, bigger opponent and so I can see Pac getting knocked down a few times in this fight. No way is this gonna be easy for Pac...
