If Malignaggi could lump up Hatton like that, I shudder to think what he will look like after Pac gets done with him.
I got Pac by UD.Comment

Manny Pacquiao said he would love to fight Ricky Hatton in Britain. “I want to come to the UK because I've never been there, I want to see the place,” Pacquiao, who has been training with the rising British boxing talent Amir Khan in Hollywood, said. “I'd like to fight in front of a big crowd. I know it would be a great, great fight if it were to happen. I'm very comfortable at 140lb so I would be OK to fight Ricky.”

It's the type of match where the ref will have much to say, e.g., how much he'll allow Hatton to punch, grab and hug.
I dunno, but I still cannot buy the pitch that there will be a new Hatton facing Pacquiao; one who'll be rather good at fighting from a distance some of the time, as in the Malignaggi fight.
I think the Hatton who'll be there in May will be the old Hatton, the same one who grabbed and hugged Kostya.
I have not seen Pacquiao recently deal with the kind of roughhousing that Hatton can bring. The last time that I can recall where he was discomforted by a foe's style was against the late Sanchez and that seems to be in he remote past.
IF Pacquiao is able to deal with the grabbing and hugging and/or the ref allows only a few of it, Hatton shall have problems.Last edited by grayfist; 03-22-2009, 10:25 AM.Comment

i am confident. i am betting all my points on pac in this fight.
when the fight comes i know who to hit up for a bet.
pac tko/ko 5.
if hatton gets in close and gives manny problems , then maybe pac ko's him late 9-11 rounds. either way same result.
i'm sure pac could drop him earlier than 5. the ko/tko is happening in 5 though.Comment
