No..... I didnt. It was just to show that Jones has done more than Joe has ever done. Its a fact. His career is like a solar eclipse when compared to that of Joes. That is all.
I didnt have an "agenda". I'm not bashing just praising.... Calm down pimpin'Comment

i think his pops was right when he said royjr. lost some confidence...i think it happened when he was trying to knock del valle out and got caught with the straight left and hit the canvas...ever since then he (and his braintrust) was content with breaking down opponents to the body and going the distance, but not taking them out for fear of getting caught again...he was slapping more to the head rather than turning on the punches...when he fought the more resilient opposition like tarver, johnson, and calzaghe, he just wasn't cracking those guys hard enough to get thier respect like he did with toney, hopkins, hill, griffin, etc.Comment

Yes..... And The Ring also have Rocky Sekorski ranked as the 25th P4P greatest puncher of all time.. This is a man that never came close to being a fringe contender with a 50/50 record and a 30% KO ratio.. I've said it in several posts.. The Ring Stinks! They're anti UK for sure.. Jones should be in the top 15 at least.. Regards MMActually The Ring Magazine's list of the 80 Best Fighters of the Last 80 Years placed Roy Jones Jr at number 44. Ahead of greats such as Bernard Hopkins, Felix Trinidad, Jake LaMotta, Lennox Lewis, Thomas Hearns, Sonny Liston, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya and Mike McCallum to name a few. Joe Calzaghe never made the list.Last edited by mickey malone; 04-20-2009, 01:04 PM.Comment
