The klits just don't provide entertainment.that's why people want to see arreola & haye.even James toney still tries to slug it out.they will never get the credit until they excite the fans.hbo wanted nothing to do with it for a reason.they will get involved in haye & arreola fights because the fans want it.even andrew golota can draw big crowds still in Chicago & new York.
good point but you went all over the place with that and at the end made no sense. Tyson fought bums in his early days, watch those fight over again and look at the dudes he fights. Vitali Klitschko/corrie sanders and vitali vs Lennox lewis, Wladimir/Brock Wladimir/Peter were better then half the fights u listed. I agree that a lot of the Klitschko fight arent as exciting but at the end of the day they have to do what they have to do and that is win

I meant fights with pure exciting action, not all quality fighters but just solid back & forth action.the maddalone/minto fight is a total bloodbath.great undercard the fans got their moneys worth.the same can be said for Harris/Jefferson.the only exciting fights the klits have been in is the lewis fight & sanders loss.Brock fight I watched yesterday & it's a onesided fight with a nice ko.All the fights I listed went rounds & were back & forth action with drama.the klits had their chances years ago to be a part of that era but when vitali quit vs Byrd he lost all credibility then & no one would fight him because it had no $$$$ in it & the same for wlad when he lost to puritty.why would any of the best at that time fight them when theirs no $$$ in it & neither was a serious contender then.just think about it if you can't beat Ross puritty there's no point fighting him & the American public don't like quitters & vitali was labelled that for years.they now are the best in the worst era of heavyweights EVER.they had their chances 10 years ago to be in with the big boys but they choked.Tyson,Holyfield, bowe, early lewis,Rahman when he was good, tua, ruiz.rahman got rocked by sanders but got up & knocked him out & then got a title shot at lewis.klitschko was in the same boat got rocked by sanders but didn't get up & there went his shot at lewis in his prime.remember those guys were around then but couldn't win the big fight to get them selves in position.vitali fought an out of shape semi retired lewis & still lost.

Gatti and Ward had three very exciting fights but they were not world class fighters. Boxing is a sport, not just entertainment - quality matters.

Most of the fights you listed were exciting because they were fairly evenly matched. Bert Cooper could never have got past either Klitschko's jab - his fight against Holyfield was only exciting because Holyfield had a bad night in that fight - Cooper was not a world class fighter.

The Klitschkos weren't world class in their early career, but later they learnt to fight tall; and since then, they have completely dominated every fight they've been in. The fact that you under-rate them as boxers is proved by the fact that you bet and lost on Gomez, when it was obvious to anyone who knows about boxing that Gomez had no chance; and by your silly sig.

You were predicting Gomez would beat Vitali.

You should be a man and give him credit now, instead of being such a poor sport and pathetic little *****.

With that win, Vitali goes to number 1 at the boxrec website.

Boxing is a sport! When you're in the ring, you don't care about being entertaining, you're just focused on winning. That's called being professional! Regardless of if you like the Klitschko's style or not, they get in the ring, stay focused, remain professional and win! That's what a boxer is meant to do. Being entertaining is just a bonus for the crowd. Even at amateur level I've seen people try to be entertaining and end up getting there ass beat, badly!

Give the guys a break, they're beating whoever comes across their path.

This fight quickly reminded me why the heavyweight division sucks. I stopped watching after the third round. I'm not even interested to see the stoppage or how it looked or ever look at any footage from that fight ever again. That's just not entertaining to me the least bit. Those are our top heavyweights fighting for a heavyweight title....pathetic.

where are all the douchebag "juan carlos gomez is the most skilled fighter vitali ever faced" guys. These idiots were telling me he was more skilled than Byrd and everyone's been avoiding him. Why are they not posting that gomez is better than aerreola and chambers and how tough jcGomez's competition was? Vitali gets the job done. Much respect and I would LOVE to see him destroy that yeti, klingon Valuev and Ruiz at the time. I would also love to see his scary ass brother get erased by someone like Arreola.
