Tyson was 19 and very inexperienced against Tillis. In fact that was his first step up in competition and he won that fight on all judges scorecards.Yeah the word PRIME does mean something to me, a PRIME tyson at 20 almost lost to James Tillis. A PRIME tyson got KTFO by Buster Douglas, and Evander Holyfield kicked his ass when he was 30 and then when he was 31 which is when a boxer is normally at the pinnacle of his career, hence the word PRIME. Dont make excuses for him, he had power but if you were a good boxer he was tailor made for you. Name one good true heavyweight boxer that he beat. I challenge you.
next
Buster Douglass fought an etremely good fight and there is no shame in losing against someone who fights like that. No excuses, Tyson lost that fight fair and squair. But all fighters lose. Tyson only lost once in his prime.
next
Evander Holyfield did not beat a prime Tyson. 3 years in prison and in activity. You really are showing your lack of knowledge here. EVery fighter peaks at 30? Maybe if if you knew a single thing about boing you'd know that swarmer who always come forward take more punishment and therefor have shorter careers and primes.

Just because you have never heard of them doesn't make them bums. It just means you know nothing, Johnny boy.Actually you just re-enforced what I already stated. Look at all the bums you named
Guess what? Tyson did that first. And appearantly the part about Williams almost beating Larry Holmes went over your head, Johnny boy.Carl William?????????? Tommy Morrison knocked his out cold.
Actually if you know how to read and weren't mentally ******ed you'd see that in my last post, I was posting facts. Tyson beat those guys, those guys beat others good fighters and so on. Whats so "what if" about that? If anything, you're the one that keeps saying "If Mike fought Klitschko he would be KTFO YO"Damn thanks for the post, you added alot of what ifs and this guy almost beat that guy and this guy ALMOST beat this prime guy.
I guess when I said that he was giving prime Evander Holyfield major problems before it was stopped due to headbutts, and him beating the **** out of Foreman went completely over your head again, Johnny boy.Alex Stewart???? You honestly say his name like hes a great one.
When he was shot to **** and old already. Ray Mercer took everything Morrison had to offer and mauled him nearly to death. Mercer went to war with Lewis and made it a very close fight. This guy was the real deal. You, for obvious reasons, wouldn't know.Ray Mercer? Wladimir is one of the few HW to ever knock that guy out
That is your story on Boxingscene in a nutshell.Good try though.
Boy, you took some abuse here. Run along to safe face now, Johnny boy, and learn something about boxing.Comment

Actually I never once said Wladamir would knock out Tyson. Never once did that come out of my mouth. Ray Mercer being the real deal was a bit far fetched dont ya think? The guy had one of the strongest chins in boxing and it worked for awhile but he was never going to get anything other than the WBO belt. And about the fighter reaching his peak at 30. Every great fighter in the last 80 years has for the most part been a champion or at there most dangerous at that age. Look it up! And Tyson didnt really take on that much damage in his 20 to 30 years so you cant use that excuse. The guy just wasnt a great champion. Part of being a great champion is having self-discipline in and out of the ring. Bernard Hopkins is a perfect example of that. And you know as well as I do that Foreman was not the same Foreman that retired in 75. But honestly, the Tony Tubbs part, I mean you cannot honestly believe that. So I guess you think Joe Hipp was a very crafty boxer also do ya.Tyson was 19 and very inexperienced against Tillis. In fact that was his first step up in competition and he won that fight on all judges scorecards.

And as far as me calling them bums because I never heard of them, I named half of them in my first post. There bums because that era of HW, before Lewis, Holyfield and Bowe were bums. They were decent bums, I will give you that.Tyson was 19 and very inexperienced against Tillis. In fact that was his first step up in competition and he won that fight on all judges scorecards.

brewster wasn't a fluke.
yes it was because wlad gassed but it happened before with ross.
not a fluke.
i think mike can take punches as good as lamon and you know mike (even though mentally weak) just keeps on trying no matter what.
mike could win in the same fashion as lamon or puritty. though i think mike was fast enough that he could spark wlad. you know wlad would be doing a judah when that happens.
i didn't want to use corrie as an example because corrie is a tall guy.
lamon at least is what only 6 ft.? 6'1? not much bigger than mike.
corrie is 6'4 i think.Comment

of course we can always use losses as an example. everyone losses unless your the greatest of all time like calzaghe , mayweather , ottke and nielsen before he got drugged in the ****y fight.
the thing is though buster was very active in the tyson fight.
if wlad tried to fight like that (not saying he has to) he'd gas so bad and it would end up looking like the lamon fight.
plus remember the round before mike got ktfo? when buster got caught with that uppercut? wlad does not get up from that........Comment

I really would call the brewster win over Wlad a fluke. The second time around always tells the truth. Just like Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman over Lennox Lewis. Flukes happen. Wlad beats brewster 99 out a 100 fights. I honestly think something was wrong with Wlad, hes thrown way more punches than that and went the distance and was nowhere near that exhausted. Look at the compubox numbers, there have been fights up to the fifth round where he has thrown more than he did against brewster. The only time he actually was gassed out because of his own ******ity was agains ross purrity.brewster wasn't a fluke.
