they were fighting in a different era in the 90's & when Tyson,lewis,Holyfield,ruiz,tua,toney,were fighting each other wlad lost to puritty,sanders & vitali quit against Byrd so they were not great in another era,they just blew their opportunities when they were on the doorstep.they CHOKED! The Byrd fight hurt vitali for a long time $ the puritty fight did so for wlad.the big boys fight in the states & they screwed themselves.wlad started making waves then the brewster & sanders knockouts hurt his marketability in the states & vitali has never been able to recover his reputation in the eyes of many boxing experts.I don't think either of them gets payperview fights in north America ever.
