Back on topic, I think Molitor will have a hard time coming back after that bad KO loss to Caballero. He really was never competitive in there.
Maybe he was saying Ruiz is back to fighting bums, which is true. LOL.

this is a great comeback fight for molitor ... really will test the waters to where he`s at ... i hope he can rebuild but i think the caballero fight really showed how limited he is ... i still plan to go and show my support without a doubt though ...

        RUIZ: won 41 (KO 23) + lost 7 (KO 2) + drawn 2 = 50

lol no power, ok chin, i don't know about skills

molitor: no power, ok chin, ok skills... to be honest, and this sounds really harsh but molitor can never be an undisputed world champion. he just doesn't have the power to hurt...

Not to sound like an ass, but Molitor seemed like a glass-chinned bum in the Caballero fight. He looked like a garbage-ass amateur, even the commentators were tripping on him. It's the only time I've seen him fight, maybe he just had a bad night.

That Caballero fight Molitor did not look himself, he just looked bad.

This is a good comback fight. A tough game opponent to test and build confidence. I think Molitor has what it takes to be in the mix again.

Molitor looked great when he won the title off of Michael Hunter and in his next fight against Ndlovu (I think Molitor at the time was ranked #8 by the Ring and Ndlovu was ranked #9 or the other way around). After that his competition was really lacking. Most of his opponents weren’t even the IBF mandatory (one was was ranked #15 by the IBF) so I was kind of disappointed. I think he got use to fighting nobodies and really wasn’t progressing or stepping it up. Then he faced Caballero and he was really dominated. He said it was an off-night and a learning experience, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but he will have to improve his competition.

in 15 months he made 6 title defended.2 manditory vs ndlovu & beltran jr.,3 voluntary,& lost the unification bout vs caballero(who is a freak at 6'0 & 122lbs).that guy is very big for that weightclass.his voluntaries vs castillo & 3 kbattery were good tests.the labardo fight was a joke thou.I also believe he hasn't been the same since he got rid of his old trainer chris Johnson.one thing I found interesting was right before his unification fight he was asked during a prefight interview what he thought about 70% of his hometown was hoping he'd lose badly.they all claimed his family including him did not show any respect for the family of the girl his brother murdered.don't know if that stories true but tough question to answer before your biggest fight.
