Khan v Anthony Mezaache is a badddd match up

Seriously, this fight wont prove anything

Its near certain khan would win, mazaache cant hit, and he isnt a great point winner either

Khan would TKO this guy early, and the same old questions about khan would still be unanswered.

Depends on what your expectations for Khan are. Mine aren't that high, so I think Mezaache and the Euro title is a reasonable step for him. Mezaache is smart, mobile, seems to deal with aggression well, might test Khan's patience.

If Khan gets a world title shot as soon as they're talking, then I agree, Mezaache won't ready him for that. For me, Khan needs a run of fights against varied and progressively sterner tests first, unless Warren's lining up a really soft opponent for a tilt at any of the vacant/soon to be vacated belts.

Who do you suggest he fights?

mazaache had problems with jon thaxton.I actually thought thaxton won but it was close.I think khan would beat him easily & it would get him a stepping stone belt(european title is like the usba or NABF title).I'd like to see him fight john Murray or Prescott again.if he wins that European title it will open up many doors for big fights & give us an indication of what he's made of.the barrera fight didn't do much for him but a win over prescott erases some doubt.he should take the mazaache fight for the title, then fight a rematch with Prescott or take on john Murray.I'd prefer the Prescott rematch thou.

chasing the European Title is a worthy path to take for Khan in my opinion, but i just can't help but feel it's some shrewd opportunism on Warren's part to wait until there's a weak champion who stands absolutely 0 chance against Khan

on paper it's okay, but in reality it's meaningless as far as i'm concerned

          Is Mezaacache tall?

          Never saw the Thaxton fight.

If he was at least tall, I could see some relevance. Khan has faced one taller fighter than himself and we all know what happened there.

An outting against a taller opponent who can't really **** would be a worthwhile excercise.

Not really, didn't Hatton leave him straight afterwards?

Mezaache's taller than Thaxton, but not tall.

The logical next step for Khan would have been the Euro belt anyway, even if Thaxton had retained it. Only reason anyone gives Thaxton more of a chance is he has a punch. I don't think much of Thaxton anyway, tbh, but that's just me. Romanov would have been better for Khan than either if he hadn't vacated, respectable power and very decent skills.

                Either way,
